SPI Sessions

Offers surfing lessons, ocean safety lessons, stand-up paddleboarding lessons, local science lessons and field trips, environmental education, and beach ecology lessons. Each of their camps touches on the importance of ocean safety and our duties as ambassadors of the planet. Choose from three unique camps or book their 6-Day camp to experience it all.

Sea Turtle, Inc.

Whether exploring the life cycle of the sea turtle, discovering the sea turtle species in the Gulf, or delving into the world of sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation, your camper will emerge a steward for our ocean and its inhabitants.

Surf Camps are ideal for friends and families that want to have fun together — it's not just for kids! Their 1-day surf camps are designed for beginners of all ages and includes use of their safe, soft surfboards, 3 hours of surfing, and water safety instruction. They also offer surfing pictures by request.

Camps offered Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays all summer long from 9am until 12pm, and Saturdays from 8am -11am.

UTRGV Coastal Studies Laboratory (will return in 2022)

Board and experience the Ridley Floating Classroom and trawl up critters to check out, observe microscopic plankton, dissect a shark, race hermit crabs, observe coastal birds and sea turtles, and perform water quality monitoring.
