Clinic and Facilitator Information
Sharon & Ernie Simas have been playing pickleball since December 2013 and actively play from 7 to 9 hours per week. They were immediately hooked on this exciting, easy-to-learn game. They have taught numerous beginners in their home town, teaching the rules of the game, the scoring, and the basic skills. They are always happy to help new players and will give them different tips that they themselves have learned during their years of playing in Michigan, Florida and Texas. Join them for the Beginner’s Introduction to Pickleball clinics.
Martha Flanders is a part-time resident of the Island, a windsurfer, yoga instructor and pickleball enthusiast. She will facilitate Intermediate Drills & Skills to improve your game. We’ll do drills for dinks, serves, third shot drop, and shadowing, putting those skills together in games. After taking Sharon and Ernie’s Beginner’s clinic, feel free to come to the Intermediate clinic. And more experienced players will find these drills help to tune your game!
