When people think of South Padre Island, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the beach. It's true that our beach is the best in Texas, but the Island has much more to offer than just sun, sand, and surf. You may be surprised to know that South Padre Island and Port Isabel (our neighbors just over the Queen Isabella Causeway) are home to many talented artists — using different mediums and bringing their own flavor to each piece they create. So why not take a class with one of our local artists while you're here? Nurturing your creative side is essential to your well-being — not to mention lots of fun! Unleash your inner artist and let the Island be your muse to create a one-of-a-kind souvenir.
