Description: The 45th Annual Texas State Surfing Championship at Isla Blanca Park is slated for first weekend in April. Adequate surf conditions permitting. Check website for updates!

From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, the Fireworks Capital of Texas (as proclaimed by the Texas Senate!) celebrates summer with fireworks every Friday night at 9:15pm. The displays are shot from a barge on the Laguna Madre Bay, roughly between Marlin and Red Snapper Streets. The displays can be seen throughout the area. Call 956-761-6433 for more information.
